Flores v. Worldwide Women’s Association

WWA's Alleged Deceptive Practices
Brenda's Story
In April 2025, Brenda Flores, a successful businesswoman, paid $249 for a "lifetime" membership at WWA. WWA promised Brenda access to networking opportunities, professional exposure, and training. WWA provided none of those things. The login credentials WWA gave Brenda were faulty, and Brenda was never able to access her online account. Brenda received nothing of value in exchange for her $249.
In June 2025, WWA contacted Brenda again and offered her biographical information in a newsletter for an additional fee of $449. Brenda refused, stating this should have been included with her $249 lifetime membership fee. Brenda specifically told WWA not to charge her credit card. WWA charged Brenda $449 anyway, without her permission.
In July 2025, Brenda hired Clapp & Lauinger LLP and filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of all California consumers (1) who paid $249 for a "lifetime" membership, OR (2) whose credit cards were charged by WWA without proper authorization.
